![]() Reissue Roundup - new records of old songs that are as good as most new records of new songs *please excuse any misspellings and/or grammatical took so long to pull this together that the last thing I want to do is go back and proofread it. It's still fun to get that charge you can only get when something brand new comes blazing out of your speakers for the first time, so I'm happy to share the records that charged me up the most this year (not counting the ones I forgot.or will finally hear next year). ![]() ![]() Regardless though, I would point out that it was another great year from music (if that's what you're into), and as much as I basically listen to the same Black Flag, Rod Stewart, and Public Enemy albums that I've been listening to for four decades, if you keep your ears open, Jah provides. The usual caveat remains this year, just as in previous years the ordering of these records is based on how I feel at that one precise moment that I actually decided to take a running list I keep over the year (#organizedAF) and list off from most to least favorite. ![]() Another year, and another attempt to prove some sort of cultural relevance that nobody was asking for in the first place. Brought together to indulge my personal prejudices and predilections. Here we are, face to face, a couple of silver spoons.
